Best Soup Ever


In slow-cooker, combine:

  • 3 cups lentils
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 boullion cubes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Cook all day on low. In the last 30 minutes, add:

  • 3-5 large chard leaves, chopped
  • Serve with Valentina Mexican hot sauce

I know this is a yoga blog, but MAN this soup creation of mine is too good to keep under wraps! I know it doesn’t sound like much. But it is delectible. We make a pot of this at my house and eat it all week! You can seriously eat it every day. And as for the specific brand of hot sauce, you’re gonna want to make that happen…trust me. Some have called it the “Siracha of Mexican food.”
