Oh, dollfaces. I was so filled with joy on Saturday. Bull City Yoga had an donation class and adoption event for Independent Animal Rescue, a network of dog & cat foster homes.
We had SIX adoptable dogs come! Aero, Shadowmaker, Bailey & Murphy, and little Ember was ADOPTED! Plus, we had a surprise attendee: Darwin! I loved them all! The foster parents were a group of amazing people that really love animals.
I have to say, one of my favorite moments was when the irrepressible Aero (pictured top left) wiggled his way into the studio just before class and started picking up towels and eyepillows gingerly in his mouth. Aw!
I have yet to count the total of donations to IAR, partially because BCY & Tiny Om Studio are going to have a raffle all month to benefit IAR! The prize is a 90-minute massage donated by Tiny Om Studio! Any amount gets you into the raffle, and you can enter as many times as you like!
