I used to jokingly say Ellie was my famous friend. But now she REALLY IS famous, and the twinkle in my eye when I say that has dulled and been replaced by the wide-eyed desperation of a hanger-on.
Her blog, Mint Design Blog, was named one of the top 50 best design blogs by The Times. Her designs have been featured in HOW magazine and Martha Stewart Weddings. She has spoken to the Charlotte AIGA members about successful blogging.
That speech was so convincing, I went home and started this blog.
She’s that good.
One of the things that really impressed me with her speech is that it focused on blogging out of love and passion for your subject matter and letting that open up doors to other kinds of abundance.
Sure, she’s talented. But Ellie is so kind. She has been there for me at some sucky intersections and let me watch CSI at her house. (That’s a big deal for me.)
